Meet The Teenager Who Saw Avengers: Infinity War 100 Times
When you learn that British teenager Kieran Harvey has seen Avengers: Infinity War 100 times, a series of questions may race through your mind. Is this a punishment of some kind? Is he trying to say something about the futility of existence? Does he know there are other movies (the answer to that one is “yes,” as he has also seen Deadpool 2 20 times and Black Panther 30 times)? In reality it seems he just really likes superhero movies, an obsession that’s surprisingly affordable when you take into account the “limitless card” that allows Kieran to enjoy repeat viewings for free. But how did Infinity War find its way into the century club?
“Avengers just felt so different to anything I’ve ever seen before,” he told Unilad. “I just love it so much so have been going as much as I can. As soon as the trailer was released, I thought, ‘I’m going to watch this a hell of a lot,’ but I just thought I’d reach 40, maybe pushing 50, but here we are at 100 and it’s crazy.”
While it’s tempting to conclude that Harvey is actively fleeing the people in his life, his family and friends have arrived at a more clinical diagnosis. “My friends all say I’m crazy, and I’m pretty sure my parents think that as well—they just haven’t explicitly stated it,” he said. “Other people just say if it makes you happy then they don’t see what’s so bad about it. But the majority say I’m crazy.”
You can watch Avengers: Infinity War 100 times in theatres now. Check out the trailer below.
