Hulk Was Supposed To Be In Captain America: Civil War—But Now He’s Not
If this blog title makes you want to turn green and smash a lot of stuff, know it’s for pretty good reason. As reported by BadTaste.it, and translated by ComingSoon.net, current Marvel Hulk Mark Ruffalo had this to say:
“The reason is too great to be revealed in this movie. I was in the script but then they removed my character. They don’t want to reveal where is he and why. I don’t even know if Hulk will be back soon.”
Wait, that’s not a good reason at all. SMAAASH!
Here’s a slightly better one: IGN claims the big green guy was pulled because “the studio is apparently saving Ruffalo’s character for something else.”
Ooh la la. Does that mean we might actually get another Hulk movie to tell the whole post-Ultron Bruce Banner story? Not likely before the next Avengers, but you never know.
